Guarding the sheep is hard work

I said I would make sure they didn't invade my yard space, didn't I? Bailey guarding her back yard from the walking mowers.
Yep Bailey you guard and I'll just lay here and hold the ground down. Spencer (below) is such a good help. He likes to hang out with the lambs as long as they don't nibble on him or step on him.

Tufts of fluff .. sheepy fluff that is

Shedding sheep share their fluff with everything!

yep that is fluff all over the ground and on the fence ... this is where they like to just hang out when they come in from pasture on a nice day.

Sometimes they just walk all over you

Well I guess it helps them if you are going to lay down in the pasture.
Getting walked all over is tiring work!

Telling Secrets

Looks like it is time to fill the little one in on some secrets already discovered in the new pasture.

Weaned ewe lambs

Here is picture of some of our weaned ewe lambs
Jades little ewe lambs, she had 3 but we lost one.
Hanna and PeeWee are next... funny to see the biggest lamb curl up to the smallest!
And here we have a little one with a really  neat colour to her. Kind of a reddish brown with white spots.

Creep Feeder

The creep feeder is a popular place for the lambs. They get a grain mix added to the feeder once per day and they really look forward to it.
